SAN FRANCISCO, CA - We repositioned an aging, non-descript, Class B office building on Market Street into a vibrant and fully-leased Class A, multi-tenant facility.
The dark, reflective materials of the original lobby at 455 Market Street obscured it from passersby on Market Street. Our aim was to improve visibility and increase leasing velocity. The repositioned lobby now glows with expanses of wood, cream-colored stone and contemporary lighting details selected to provide a sense of warmth, elegance and openness.
Natural wooden benches serve as hubs for social interaction, while the redesign of the entry arcade create more openness, light and connectivity to the adjacent pocket park, making the arcade retail more viable. Our approach included the implementation of lighting and hanging infrastructure for a circulating art program, which creates buzz during scheduled openings throughout the year. This transformation propelled 455 Market Street into a fully leased, Class A building.
