CHICAGO, IL - We re-envisioned and amplified the presence of a signature Chicago lobby with new custom artwork, lighting and seating areas, while enhancing the setting for the beloved Louise Nevelson sculpture that had long been a fixture in the building.

Rather than recreating a commercial office lobby, we envisioned the space as a museum lobby, integrating the dramatic Dawn Shadows sculpture into a refreshed context with new theatrical lighting and new seating areas. This was complemented by a new large-scale, reclaimed wood sculpture and a new living wall that transformed the lobby into a place for conversation, contemplation and inspiration - a fitting experience for such a pivotal building.
