Westin Galleria

The Westin at Galleria Dallas found itself unexpectedly cast in the shadow of the newly renovated Galleria retail center we completed. To appeal to out-of-town patrons of the Galleria and nearby attractions, we began by addressing those hotel services that would be most beneficial to weekend travelers. We focused on creating comfort and convenience in the guest rooms while improving public amenities with luxurious finishes, furnishings, materials and details beyond the typical Westin standard. 

For the business traveler, we created new meeting and banquet spaces to attract group gatherings and increase weekday traffic. The redesign also included enclosing the pool with a new ballroom and transforming the restaurant into a destination venue. By bridging entertainment, wellness and relaxation into a seamless experience, the property became a hot spot for local residents and out-of-town guests alike. Following the renovation, the Westin Galleria was named Starwood’s hotel of the year.
